Hi,

I am new to making art, about 2 months into it actually. My Boyfriend (~GothicRemorse) spent over a month now trying to get me to create an account here on DeviantArt, and I finnaly did it (With him at the keyboard, even now he types this for me). I am not very confident in my work yet and find that the simplicity involved in the making of these makes them less than good art. However, my BF insists that it takes an artists eye to see what works and what does not, what is beautiful and what is not. So I guess he is right, it isn't the complex creation or the time taken that makes art... it is the beauty of the final work. Well, in that case, here are a few of my creations. I hope you all like them.

I have already received one comment that remarked that the image was 'stunning' ... so I guess I can't be that bad. In this comment it was also remarked that they found the frame I used didn't '...really go with the dark coloration of the picture...' Well, actually, I agree with that assesment. But there is a reason for useing it. In my responce to it I said "...it is the frame I use for all my submissions to DA for copyright protection. It allows for a decent framing, and space for adding the © at the bottom and the image name at the top without detracting from the image too much." It is the image itself that is most importaint, not the frame it is in... Right?

All of my art will have the following characteristics for the purpose of Copyright Protection: The same frame, The same Fonts in the same point size with the same coloring in the same positions, The same resize from the original size which will slightly distort the image causing a slight pixelation. Please keep this in mind when giving your Critiques, thank you.

Anyway, tell me what you think of my work. Be honest, no sense in trying to be nice or 'sparing my feelings', I can never improve if you lie to me, make misleading comments, or say nothing at all.
